Did you know that you can get your lighter than air pilot license before you drive a car? No kidding!

Introducing AeroTeen Ground School!!!

Have you ever wanted to know what it takes to become a hot air balloon pilot? This class will introduce you to the aspects of becoming a pilot. AeroTeen Ground School will introduce you to the basics about weather, navigation, balloon systems/ performance, mapping, and communications/regulations. This seminar will be taught by private and commercial balloon pilots. No boring lectures just lots of practical information and hands on activities. Want to join us?

When: June 21, 2008
Time: 7:45a to 5:00p - Lunch will be provided
Where: Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta Offices (4401 Alameda Ave NE)
Cost: $35.00 - This includes all materials
Who can participate? Any teen over the age of 14 who wants to know about becoming a hot air balloon pilot.

Participants will receive all materials used in the seminar, FAR/AIM, Albuquerque Sectional Chart, an AeroTeen Ground School completion certificate and will have the opportunity to receive an FAA student pilot certificate.

Seminar Cancellation Policy

Classes
If the minimum number of students have not registered 2 weeks prior to a seminar, the seminar may be cancelled. Students will be refunded the seminar fee.

Students
A student may withdraw from a seminar up to 2 weeks prior to the seminar and receive of the seminar fee; books must be returned in like-new condition to receive a refund. Withdrawals less than 2 weeks from the seminar date will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and partial refunds may be granted.
