This well attended rally is held each year near Valentine's Day at the Balloon Fiesta Park in Albuquerque. We are always in need of support and sponsors for this rally. Please contact the committee to learn about sponsors perks and great marketing opportunities available through sponsorship for the Friends and Lovers Rally. Fiesta Hospitality Tent Coordinator: Carol Bair Hosting the Pilot Hospitality Tent is AAAA's way of welcoming all the out of town pilots as well as offering an added benefit to all of our members during Fiesta. Can't help out most of the year? Here's a wonderful opportunity to pitch in and assist all those eager and tired(!) pilots early in the morning before launch for any or all days of Fiesta! We provide coffee, hot chocolate, fruit, and breakfast munchies as well as our famous hospitality. It's a great way to meet pilots from other areas and to share AAAA's enthusiasm for our sport! We also need volunteers early in the morning before the tent opens to carry coffee pots and food to and from the tent from storage. You won't be asked to serve food. We only need your help from 4:45 am to 6:15 am. You will be done in time to make it to pilot briefing. Please help us by volunteering for ONE DAY during fiesta! Committee MeetingsThe Special Events Committee schedules meetings as needed for their events, mainly prior to Friends and Lovers Balloon Rally in February. The committee is always looking for volunteers to help in both the planning and execution of these great events. |
